The widest mouth measures 6.69 centimeters! It belongs to Joaquim
Francisco Domingo "Chiquinho" and was measured on the set of Lo Show dei
Record in Rome, Italy.

On May 4, 1951, Sir Hugh Beaver, then the director of the Guinness
Brewery, went on a shooting party in North Slob in County Wexford,
Ireland. He became involved in a dispute over which was the fastest game
bird in Europe, later realized that it was impossible to confirm in
reference books. He thought that a book supplying answers to such
questions can be popular.

The 197-page first edition of the Guinness Book of Records "is bound on
August 27, 1955, and went to the top of the British bestseller list at
Christmas. More than 400 million copies sold since its first edition.

This boy is 18.04 meters long, 6.92 meters wide and 9.51 meters high,
and it is an exact replica of a Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. What
format would it be? UK size 845. Designers used a Converse Chuck Taylor
All Star European size 39 as a model. The National Children's Fund
revealed the enormous shoe on November 17 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

A Labrador named Tubby, owned by Sandra Gilmore of Pontnewydd, Torfaen,
United Kingdom, has helped recycle an estimated 26,000 plastic bottles
in the last six years by collecting them on his daily walks, they break
and they are passed to its owner.

Albanian artist Saimir Street has four Guinness World Records to date
(for the largest nail mosaic, Largest Toothpick Mosaic, Mosaic Corks
Biggest and Largest Paint Brush Mosaic). Here we see him posing with his
fifth attempt, a huge bill he calls the "Currency of the Soul." The
work measures 490 cm. with 240 cm. (192.9 inches by 94.4 inches),
contains 300,000 industrial screws and was characterized by a portrait
of the ancient Greek poet Homer.

15. Most concrete blocks broken while a raw egg

Joe Alexander, Germany, breaking 24 concrete blocks, assembled in three
stacks of 8, while a raw egg in the hand of the arm is used to break
the blocks. After the third egg was broken stack was still unbroken.
The record to beat was 14 and the final result was 24.

Alistair Galpin posing with the biggest bottle cap sculpture made of
19,205 caps, in Auckland, New Zealand. The caps were used to sculpture
in the shape of a rugby ball to. It took 18 months to complete and was

The 27-year-old snared 40 friends and used a battery of nine toasters
